Planning and Support

Planning and Support Services for the Orange County Sheriff’s Office oversee the following functions:

  • Training - Development and implementation of training regimens in order to keep the office on the cutting edge of law enforcement.
  • Fleet Management - Ensuring entire fleet is serviced, inspected and registered. Recording of mileage and planning fleet replacement and acquisitioning of equipment. Conducts random inspections.
  • Grant Management - The research and application of grants. Coordination with personnel in the administration of grant disbursements and requirements.
  • Records Management - Oversight of recordkeeping procedures including authorized release, storage security and proper destruction upon legal expiration of storage obligation.
