All Orange County transfer stations will be CLOSED Monday September 4th in observance of Labor Day.

All Orange County transfer stations will be open regular hours on Saturday September 2nd and Tuesday September 5th.

As of 8/2/17 Orange County will expand the collection of electronics waste at Transfer Station #1 in New Hampton and Transfer Station #2 in Newburgh to include the following:

Computers, monitors and other computer peripherals, small scale servers, printers, scanners, fax machines, stereos and stereo equipment, cables and power adaptors, video game consoles, cable boxes, VCRs, DVRs, DVD players, digital media players, digital storage devices, laptops, tablets, e-readers, and smart phones & cell phones –
THESE ITEMS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR FREE

*****TVS WILL CONTINUE TO COST $5 EACH FOR DISPOSAL******

Electronic Items NOT accepted are: alkaline batteries, small appliances, vacuum cleaners, smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors, broken CRT glass, and light bulbs.
        

EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1, 2013 Orange County Transfer Stations SOLID WASTE & C&D TIP FEE WILL INCREASE TO $85/PER TON
