Chief Criminal Investigator 


This position requires the supervision of investigations conducted by the District Attorney and outside police agencies. Duties are assigned by the District Attorney. The position also requires supervision over subordinate staff investigators.
Candidate must possess certification to serve as a police officer as required by §1.20(34)(g) of the Criminal Procedure Law and have a minimum of ten years of police experience including significant police supervisory experience or a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of four years of significant supervisory experience in a police department. Applicant must be certified in the use of firearms. The Chief Criminal Investigator is an “at will” employee and serves at the discretion of the District Attorney.

SALARY: $118,200 per year

Applicants must state whether or not they would require a 211 pension waiver.
