Seasonal Park Attendants

DEPARTMENT OF PARKS, RECREATION AND CONSERVATION 

Applications are now being accepted by the Orange County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation for Seasonal Park Attendant positions. The nature of these appointments is temporary.

This work involves assisting in various activities relating to the day to day operation of Orange County Park facilities, including golf course starters, cashiers, rangers and course staff, park and arboretum maintenance, campground and museum staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 18 years of age or older and possess at time of appointment and maintain a valid driver’s license.

NOTE: Candidates must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays, AS NEEDED.


CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION IS NOT A REQUIREMENT FOR APPOINTMENT

SALARY: $17.4636/hour

HOURS: Up to 19.5 hours per week for a season lasting no longer than 8 months; requires break in service between seasons of no less than 4 months.
