Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP)
The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) is a new program approved by Congress under The Housing and Economic Recovery Act (HERA). In September, 2008, the U.S. Department of Housing and Development (HUD) notified Orange County that the County would receive an allocation of $2,163,744 in NSP funding. The purpose of the NSP Program is to address the effects of abandoned and foreclosed properties in Orange County. NSP program beneficiaries must have incomes below 120% AMI.
