01-08-08 Diana Welcomes Returning Legislator Greg Townsend

Orange County Executive Edward A. Diana, County Clerk Donna Benson, Sheriff Carl Dubois and numerous legislators, officially welcomed Orange County Legislator Greg Townsend as he took his oath of office as Legislator from the 7th District.

Mr. Townsend was elected to serve out the balance of the term of the late Spencer McLaughlin.

Mr. Townsend expressed his appreciation to the people of the 7th District and commented on his legislative priorities for the upcoming session.
